Sue F. Littlepage

Sue Frances Scott Littlepage, age 64, of Henderson, KY, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her home. Susie was of Christian Faith. She believed and practiced Christ’s command to “Be of service to others”. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was expecting her next grandchild in August. Susie had many friends and maintained lifelong relationships with them. Family, friends and her pets were the center of her life. She was a high school graduate of Henderson County High. Susie was a veterinarian technician at Southside Animal Hospital for the past 16 years. She loved animals and committed her life to caring for them. Susie loved and cared for all her “patients” like her own. She was loved and needed by the clients whose animals she cared for. She volunteered her time to “Pay if forward Animal Rescue” Susie was a country girl, she loved to garden and get her hands in the dirt. She enjoyed fishing and spent many nights on the banks of the Ohio River. Susie was the owner of “Susie’s crocheting”. She crocheted many baby blankets and quilts. Susie had a “quirky” intelligence and had answers for everything. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, country and blues music. She was an avid collector. She felt best when outdoors gardening and spending time with her pets. The biggest joy the last year and a half of her life was spending time with her grandson Elijah. Susie was preceded by: The love of her life, husband Gene Littlepage in 2006, Parents, Betty Alvis Roberts and Rudy Scott, Brother, Joe Glover, Sister, Alvis Whitaker, Step son, Wesley Littlepage, Step daughter, Toni Littlepage, and Niece, Jacquelyn “Starlene” Cahill. Survivors include: 1 Sister: Diana Huebner Son: Daniel R. Scott Daughter: Tracey I. Littlepage 3 Step sons: Roger Littlepage, Chris Littlepage and Baron Littlepage Step daughter: Karen Shelton 19 Grandchildren 25 Great Grandchildren Many Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Susie’s Life Celebration from 10:00 AM until the service time on, Thursday, February 12, 2015. Services with be at 4:00 PM, on Thursday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Burial will follow at a later date at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions in Susie’s name to “Pay It Forward Animal Rescue”.
