Judith Ann Francis

Judith Ann Francis, age 66, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 11:37 p.m., April 3, 2023, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY. Judith was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed reading her Bible with her husband, Greg. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, puzzles, and particularly loved to fish and camp. She sewed blankets for her family and cherished giving them those handmade gifts of love. Judith was an animal lover of all creatures, big and small. Some grandmothers choose one name to be known by, but Judy answered to “Grandma, Mamaw, Grandma Judy, Nana” and she loved every one of them. That grandmotherly love extended outside the family as well. In addition to her parents, T.J. and Athalene Hoggard, Judith was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Hoggard and Dewey Dunagun; sister, Susan Hoggard; sister-in-law, Wanda Hoggard; and her great-grandson, Kristopher Robb. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Greg Francis of Henderson, KY; son, Ricky D. Moore, Jr. (Lori Craig) of Henderson, KY; daughter, Tiffany D. Clark of Henderson, KY; sister, Lisa F. Tinnell of Henderson, KY; sister-in-law, Vivian Ward (Jimmy) of Henderson, KY; brothers, Michael R. Willet (Marilyn) of Sebree, KY and Perry L. Willet (Tammy) of Uniontown, KY; grandchildren: Cody Littrell (Crystalyn Lester), Skylar Moore, Halie Moore, Rebecca Rooney, and Kalee Rooney (Dameon Stout), all of Henderson, KY; great-grandson Jude Robb; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Judith’s Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, April 10, 2023, Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
