Heshimu A. Hall

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Heshimu A. Hall, 53, of Gallatin, Tennessee. He passed away on January 16, 2025. Heshie was born on July 15, 1971, to William and Janice Hall in Henderson, Kentucky. Heshie graduated from Henderson County High School. Heshie had a vision and a dream. He did not just dream; he applied goals with his dream. He began working at Aeroquip as a Line-worker. He then realized he wanted more. He told his supervisor that he would come in on weekends without pay to learn and grow within the company. He was then promoted to Maintenance. From there he worked at MacMillan Bloedel as a Team Lead. He then took a position at Toyota Motor Corporation as an Assembly Manager. He was then promoted to Production System Manager. Heshie entered the workforce without any degrees. He earned all his promotions from dedication and hard work. After maintaining his goals, he furthered his education. He earned an associate’s degree in business, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from The University of Phoenix. He went on to work for OshKosh in Rochester, Minnesota. From there he worked for Medline Industries as Senior Director in Chicago, Illinois. He continued to expand and grow and began working for US Foods in the role of Regional Vice President of Field Optimization-Operations. He was then promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain Excellence. He also worked for Schneider Electric as a Supply Chain Senior Performance Leader. Heshie’s latest accomplishment was obtaining the role as the Vice President of Lean Transformation/Berry Operating System for Berry Global in Gallatin, Tennessee. In Heshie’s free time, he loved to play golf. He also became a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity in April of 2010. He was an avid member of both communities, and they became family to him. Heshie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John Hatchett, and his sister Maudy Bell Rose Hall. Heshie is survived by his wife Christina Hall; his children: Trey Hall of Spartanburg, SC, and Tayshaun Hall of Gallatin, TN, and JaNaya Hall of Gallatin, TN; one and only granddaughter, Norie of Spartanburg, SC; two brothers, Timothy (Peggy) Hall, and Archie Turner of Henderson, KY; six sisters: Charlene Turner, Sherry Jatta Hall, Dianice Hall, Eunice (Jason) Carver, Kahlilah Floyd of Henderson, KY, and Gloria Davies of Providence, KY; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Heshie’s departure leaves an unfillable void in his family’s lives, yet they find comfort in their memories of him. Relatives and friends are invited to Heshie’s Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
