Terry George McKibben Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Terry George McKibben, age 74, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 5:43 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Terry was a United States Air Force Veteran and a graduate from University of Evansville. He retired from the City of Henderson Police Department. Terry was recognized by the department as Officer of the Year. He was a Kentucky Colonel. Terry was also a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and loved their music program. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose McKibben, and his son Kyle David McKibben. He is survived by his wife Julie McKibben of Henderson, KY; sons, James Clinton “Clint” McKibben of Evansville, IN, Kelly Gene McKibben and Kory Daniel McKibben both of Henderson, KY; sisters: Dianne Pankey of Shelbyville, IN, Kathye LeMay of Tuscon, AZ, and Ruth Jones of Dubois, IN; brother Dale McKibben of Bloomington IN; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Terry’s Life Celebration from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson, KY. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church with Reverend Mike Snyder officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, KY. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Worsham Post #40.
