Susan G. Goodman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Susan G. Goodman, age 65, of Owensboro, KY, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Susan was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Summers, father Benjamin Summers, brothers Johnny Summers, Bruce Summers, and Darelle Summers. Susan was born June 23, 1955 to Benjamin and Joyce summers. She worked at Community Methodist Hospital for many years before her retirement. Susan enjoyed crafting, reading her bible, spending time with her puppy’s savannah and Kinzie, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 15 years Steven Goodman of Owensboro, KY; children Earl King and his wife Rachelle King of Morganfield, KY and Crystal Roberts and her husband Brendan Roberts of Longview, TX; brother Steve Summers of Boston, MA; and many nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Susan’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
