Ronnie Lee Linton

Ronnie Lee Linton age 73, joined our Lord in Heaven on December 22, 2022. He was born in Henderson, Kentucky and resided in Evansville, Indiana. Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Army, a Kentucky Colonel, a former Constable in Henderson County, was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, The Fraternal Order of the Eagles (Chaplain), and the Fraternal Order of Police. He is preceded in death by his father, Ivo “Mac” Avoy Linton, his mother Marie Deicken Linton, his brother Earl Linton, his sister Maxine Hobbs, and his spouse Vickie “Vee” Stephens Linton. He is survived by his four children: Lee Ann Linton Salazar of Virginia Beach, VA, Jennifer Beauchamp (David) of Yuma, AZ, Meaghan Marie Linton of Hardin, KY, and Ronnie Lee Linton II (Iris) of Morganfield, KY; two step-children Tonya Hayhurst of Evansville, IN and Aleron “Jeff”erson Hayhurst (Trish) of Clarksville, TN; twin sister Bonnie Linton-Hendrick (Buck) of Hastings, NE; brother Ivo “Bud” Linton (Diane) of Louisville, KY; first wife Jo Ann Heppler; 13 grandchildren: Cody “Cora” Hancock (Kayla), Sydney Meyer (Shawn), Haley Noel Hancock, Raylen Hollis, Alexandria Beauchamp, Mia Salazar, Samantha and Kaitlynn Beauchamp, Meise Salazar, Jillian Stone, Cristabella Salazar, Jetta Wheeler, and Maverick Linton; 2 great-grandchildren Brinleigh Meyer and Talia Hancock; 6 step-grandchildren: Danielle Brown, Stormi Hayhurst, Taia Matchem, Jalen Hayhurst, Sariana Hayhurst, and Treyson Hayhurst; and 3 step-great-grandchildren: Adonis and Aziyah Wilson and Nova Berry. Relatives and friends are invited to Ronnie’s Life Celebration from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, and again on Saturday from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
