Martha Lewis Turley, age 74, of Smith Mills, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. In addition to her parents Orion and Anna Lewis, Martha was preceded in death by her husband William Doug Turley and 13 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Christie Turley of Smith Mills, KY and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Martha’s Life Celebration from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Larry McBride officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
