Lacreta Marie Patmore, age 49, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anythony’s Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Ann Simpson and her partner Rodney Harberson. Lacreta worked in retail as assistant manager at Family Dollar for many years. Her grandkids were her treasure. Leonidas, Zander, Michael and Josh lit up her life. Lacreta was such a caring and understanding woman. She never gave up and some would call her stubborn, but truly it was her great strength. She is survived by her daughter Destardie Mortis of Henderson, KY; 2 sons George Latham of Henderson, KY and Oscar Patmore of Princeton, IN. A Memorial Life Celebration will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home.
