Gina Mabrey

October 3, 1959 - February 10, 2022

Gina Mabrey, age 62, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Gina lived by her motto “Blessed Beyond Measure”. She loved the Lord and served him daily. Gina retired from the Henderson County School System. She had a positive outlook in life, regardless of the circumstances. Her positive spirit was contagious; people would feel better just from a simple conversation with her. Gina was a prayer warrior. If she said she’d be praying for you, you knew she would. Spending time with her family, especially the grandkids, gave her the most joy. Gina was preceded in death by her father Hollis Ray Jones. She is survived by her husband of 41 years David Mabrey; daughter Kaci Payne and her husband Timothy; son Joshua Mabrey and his wife Summer; mother Mary Brenda Caton Jones; brother Gregory Jones and his wife Barbara all of Henderson, KY; as well as 6 grandchildren: Meckenzie Baker, Lukas Baker, Marvin Payne, Levi Payne, Arthur Mabrey, and Lillian Mabrey; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Gina’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Cairo United Methodist Church and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Wednesday at the church. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the church with Reverend David Mabrey and Reverend Joshua Mabrey officiating.
