Eddy Wayne Wright Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eddy Wayne Wright, Sr., age 70, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 5:49 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Eddy was a truck driver for Vincent Plastics for several years and a retired laborer for Rinker. He was a hard worker and enjoyed being home and deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Virginia Wright, his sister Judy Dixon, and his brother Ricky Wright. Eddy is survived by his wife of 44 years Shirley Wright of Henderson, KY; daughter Melanie Wright of Henderson, KY; sons: David Wright, Timmy Wright (Joni), and Eddy Wright, Jr. (Joy) all of Henderson, KY; sister Linda Presley of Henderson, KY; brothers: Paul Wright (Joyce) of Utica, KY and Frankie Wright (Maurita) of Henderson, KY; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Eddy’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the funeral home with Brother Billy Balke officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Mills Cemetery in Smith Mills, KY. Full military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Worsham Post #40. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 S.
