Donna J. King Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donna J. King, 76 of Summerville, SC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home. Donna was the daughter of the late William and Norma Fambrough of Henderson, KY. She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Fambrough Gibbs, sister Shirley Martin and her husband Earl R King, Sr. Donna loved cooking. She owned Bonton's Restaurant for twenty years. Decorating for Christmas was something she loved to do every year. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she looked forward to sharing it with her family. Donna is survived by her children Tammy Duncan, Michael Somers (Sherry), Susan Sheets, Rita Beck (Steve), Virgil Somers, Jerry Somers (Daisy), her brothers and sisters Billy Fambrough, Ray Fambrough (Vickie) Connie Colburn, Lisa Chang and Chris Fambrough (Mandy). Grandchildren, Kristina Popwell (Blake), Michael Bryan (Sonjia), Kayla Somers, Scotty Somers, Miley Somers and her cherished great grandchildren, Dylan, Kevin, Austin, Chelsea, Aiden, Addy, Chayton, Heidi and Jaxson and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Donna’s Life Celebration from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
