Debra J. "Debbie" Johnson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Debra J. “Debbie” Johnson, age 67, of Henderson, KY passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Debbie was previously a supervisor for Whirlpool Corp. before retiring. She was a self-employed wallpaper hanger for many years. Debbie loved her 3 cats and her fish. She enjoyed planting a garden and growing an assortment of vegetables every year. Most of all, Debbie loved her family, with her whole being, and would move mountains for each and every one of us. She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Joyce Goodson and her son David R. Johnson. She is survived by two daughters Kathrine Elizabeth Johnson of Henderson, KY and Michelle Dawn Duncan of Calhoun, KY; one son Damien Romel Johnson (Crystal) of Corydon, KY; two sisters Nancy Toombs and Sharon Duncan both of Henderson, KY; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews, and 9 great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Debbie’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Reverend Rick O’Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
