Clarence E. Duncan, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Clarence E. Duncan, Jr., age 81, of Henderson, KY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 21, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Norma Gayle Villenes Duncan; his parents, Clarence Duncan, Sr. and Morris Louise Duncan, and his brother, Gerald Duncan. Clarence was a member of Grace Point Church. He retired in 2000 from Frito Lay after nearly 30 years of service. After retirement, he spent many happy years babysitting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clarence was happiest when he was spending time with family. He enjoyed horseback riding at Wranglers campground with four generations of family including his last ride in July 2021. He also enjoyed camping and boating on Nolin Lake. Clarence is survived by his 2 sons, Tim and his wife Judy, and Dwight and his wife Christina; and his daughter, Sherri Mayer and her husband Kevin, all of Henderson, KY; 7 grandchildren: Matt Duncan (Aimee), Mike Duncan (Donna), Mindy Blanford (Terry), Katie Brooks (Eric), Tyler Mayer (Kennedy), Kayla Walenga (Ryan), and Bryce Duncan; 13 great-grandchildren: Jaylee, Jaxton, Jace, Jacob, Tanner, and Kate Duncan, Landon and Mason Wright, Sophie Brooks, Brett Walenga, Abby, Ally, and Aiden Blanford; and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Clarence’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home and from 8:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the funeral home with Reverend Eric Fannin from Grace Point Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Fairmont Mausoleum in Henderson, KY. Pallbearers will be Tyler Mayer, Bryce Duncan, Matt Duncan, Mike Duncan, Ryan Walenga, Eric Brooks, and Terry Blanford.
