Betty Irene Miller

September 27, 1951 - January 21, 2022

Betty Irene Miller, age 70, of Henderson, KY, gained her angel wings on Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Irene was a quiet person with a big heart. She was an inspiration to all who knew her with her warm spirit and loving smile. She enjoyed cooking and crossword puzzle books. She had previously worked at Just For Kids Daycare but retired from SAVEALOT after 20 years of service. She was a devote Christian woman and member of End Time Pentecostal Church. She read her Bible daily and served the Lord faithfully. She was a great mother and grandma to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Florence Wilson, her husband Leon Miller, daughter Amy McLean, great granddaughter Victoria Mueller and sister Wilma Piper. Irene is survived by her son Kevin Miller and his wife/Irene’s caretaker (Shannon), 3 sisters Faye Knight (Frank), Mary Webb, Linda Ford (Jimmy); brother Bobby Wilson all of Henderson, KY; 5 grandchildren Kaylee McLean, Angie Momon, Ted Meuller Jr., Michael Meuller and David Brown; 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Irene’s Life Celebration from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Joey Chaney officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, KY.
