Arthella B. Glick, age 68, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 9:23 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Dottie Billings, husband Richard H. Glick, and her daughter Sherry Glass. Arthella was a Christian woman. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She is survived by her son Carl E. Powell, Jr. and his father Carl Powell, Sr. of Henderson, KY; 3 brothers: Malcolm Billings of Poole, KY, Carl “Nubby” Billings of Corydon, KY, and Franklin Billings of Reed, KY; 2 grandchildren LaDon and Kameron; and 2 great-grandchildren Kaylah and Kaiden. Relatives and friends are invited to Arthella’s Life Celebration from 12:00 p.m. until the service time on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY. Due to Gov. Beshear’s mandate, masks are required prior to entry with limited seating per Covid-19 regulations.
