Emma Lois Brown

Emma Lois Brown, 74, of Henderson, KY went to be with the Lord at 9:00 AM July 30, 2015, at her home here in Henderson. Emma was born June 27, 1941 to Herbert Staser and Mamie Billings Staser in Henderson, KY. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She would take them to McDonalds and watch them play for hours. Emma was well known for her angel and snowmen collections, and her passion for her beautiful flower gardens with ceramic figures. She could be found rocking outside listening to her wind chimes. Emma made it a point to teach her children how to make her famous chicken and dumplings, and also excelled in the kitchen baking cakes and pies. She was also known for her potato candy. She visited the Goodwill store everyday. A difficult time in Emma’s life was the loss of her daughter, Toni, 45 years ago. It changed her life forever. Emma served for over 20 years at the Kusan/Aeroquip plant in Henderson and was a member of Victory Christian Center. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Ray Littlepage, and grandson, Michael Littlepage. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Karen Martin and husband Ralph Smith Mills, KY 2 Sons: Roger Littlepage and wife Suzan Henderson, KY Barron Littlepage and wife Rhonda Reed, KY 1 Sister: Alice Quirk Evansville, IN 3 Brothers: Ronald Staser Dayton, OH Daryl Staser Evansville, IN William “Bill” Staser Reed, KY 12 Grandchildren Many beloved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to Emma’s Life Celebration from 3:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2015 and again on Monday starting at 9:00 AM until service time. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday with the Rev. Jack Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Henderson County. Pallbearers will be Matthew Littlepage, Corey Littlepage, Hunter Littlepage, James Shelton, Ryan Rhoads, and Cody Pedigo.
