Jeremy Bailey

Jeremy Bailey, age 46, of Henderson, KY, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at his home. In addition to his parents, Ronald and Donna Bailey, Jeremy was preceded in death by his half-brothers Tab Bailey and Tony Bailey and an uncle D.K. Brewster. Jeremy is survived by his wife of 15 years Stephanie Bailey; daughters Mariah Williams (Setrick Brooks) and Cheyenne Williams (Jalan Hobson) of Henderson, KY; son Cherokee Williams of Henderson, KY; grandchildren: Camelo Brooks, Montana Brooks, Briella Hobson, and Boston Hobson all of Henderson, KY; sister Jennifer Deen (Daniel) of Petersburg, IN; brother Scott Bailey of Indiana; nieces Brooke Jones (Ryan) of Petersburg, IN and Chelsea Bailey of Otwell, IN; nephew Zach Riddle of Washington, DC; aunt Sherrie Brewster of Hollister, MO; cousins: Cody Brewster (Liz) of Springfield, MO, Jaimee Brewster of Hollister, MO, Nolan Jones and Harper Jones of Petersburg, IN; and last, but certainly not least, fur babies: Zoey, Brodie, Harley, and Whiskey. If you knew Jeremy, you knew that his passion in life was racing. He started racing go carts at a very young age and his enthusiasm for the sport grew as he did. If he wasn’t racing go carts, sprint cars, or RC cars himself, you could be sure to find him watching someone else race. Jeremy always looked forward to racing season. He was known for attending every race of the season at Tri-State Speedway. Jeremy truly loved not only racing, but the racing community. If he saw someone without equipment and he had some to share, he would do so gladly. Relatives and friends are invited to Jeremy’s Life Celebration from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, and again on Friday starting at 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
