Henrietta Campbell

Henrietta Campbell, age 87 of Henderson, KY, passed away at 3:10 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Henrietta was born in the small town of Hatfield, IN in 1928 to Henry and Morell Crowder. She was very close to her mother, father and sister. She was a cheerleader in high school and her sister was her dearest friend. They were total opposites, which was always a source of fun and joking in their small community. Henrietta was an outgoing girl. She loved to tease about sneaking off to the circus to be a dancer. She was the manager of the Pennyrile Parkway in Sebree, Ky. Henrietta loved supporting her community and was very involved in events and celebrations. She loved her family and friends and was a classy woman with a giving, thoughtful spirit. She was everyone’s angel. Henrietta attended the Sebree United Methodist Church and Evansville Lockyear Business College. Henrietta’s Family: Husband: George Lee “G.L” Campbell (Deceased 2014) 2 Daughters: Kim McGrew-Liggett and husband Kenny of Henderson, KY Billie Sue Vogel and Bill Richmond of Alabama 2 Step-Daughters: Jo Jo Cowling and husband Bruce Nonnie Hopper 4 Grandsons: Billy Jobe McGrew, Brad Thomason, Chris Thomason, Nathan Cowling Joshua Lee McGrew (Deceased) 5 Great-Grandchildren: Braxton, Ella and Ava McGrew Graham and Grace Thomason Sister: Sue Orsburn (Deceased) 3 Nieces: Julie Orsburn Beth and Belinda Buchanan Extended Family Caretakers: Terri Fulcher, Tena Weyerbacher, Lauri Eirwin Relatives and friends are invited to Henrietta’s Life Celebration from 4:00-7:00 PM, Friday, April 3, 2015 and again on Saturday starting at 9:00 AM at Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery (AKA Hatfield Cemetery) in Hatfield, IN.
